Anxiety Animated Video
Tools: Biteable
Time: About 2-3 hours
Client: Concept Project: Potential clients include psychologists, therapists, and workplace self-care trainings.
Collaborators: Self
Challenge:
The challenge in this project was to create a short video instructing learners on a quick, accessible strategy to combat anxiety. This video needed to serve as a quick micro-learning activity that provides music, visual cues, and text examples about the 5-4-3-2-1 anxiety strategy.
Solutions:
I used "Biteable" to create an animated movie to accomplish this task. The animated movie provides an accessible and visually appealing way to access this content that may be stressful to some learners. I researched the strategy, and from my research, was able to provide text based examples of how to use the strategy along with visual examples within the "Biteable" library. I also exported the file to both the embed file and an mp4 file for easy sharing with my client.
Result:
Success with this video would be measured by both consumer/client happiness with the product (perhaps using some sort of smile sheet) as well as by data measure with the client to find out how many of their learners are actually using the 5-4-3-2-1 strategy or how many at least tried the strategy (since not all learners will use choose to use this strategy and do not need to).
